We’re looking for a physician scientist with the expertise to design and lead clinical trials for the development of novel treatments in oncology.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform medical need and clinical development landscape analyses to support program-specific TPP generation, including target population and safety, PK, and efficacy targets.
Establish the program clinical team, design, and execute clinical trials for early development programs in oncology, including authoring clinical sections for regulatory documents and overseeing clinical operations activities.
Identify study sites as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships with PIs and clinical staff.
Present clinical development updates to the Management Team.Establish a program-specific external communication plan and prepare presentations and manuscripts for publication.

TO BE THE RIGHT FIT, THIS CANDIDATE:
Has led successful early development programs (Ph1/2) in oncology. This includes experience generating program-specific TPPs and overseeing medical, regulatory, and operational activities.
Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
Can effectively work in multifunctional teams.
Has published and will continue to publish in high-quality scientific, technical, or medical journals—and present at internal and external meetings.
EXPERIENCE
MD, PhD, or Md/PhD degree
Expert understanding of treatment strategies in oncology (established and in development), and treatment response and resistance mechanisms, including immune therapies
Excellent communication, team building, and leadership skills that establish a can-do culture, foster effective team participation and engagement of external experts and advisors and enables fast and robust data-driven decision making and project management
Computational skills, working knowledge in statistics, and standard software applications for writing, presenting, publishing, and database analyses
High scientific impact publication record
